Transportation
There are many ways to get around the Riviera Maya around Tulum, Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Whether by taxi, private vans, rental cars or public shuttle services, transportation is everywhere and readily accessible.
Taxi Fares
The following taxi fares are approximate.
Private Vans
Van prices from Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Tulum prices effective January 1, 2008.
Rental Cars
Most of the major rental car companies in the Riviera Maya are located in Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
Ferry
Going from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel for the day or longer is a great trip.
