Tulum

Tulum is by far one of Mexico’s most highly celebrated beaches.  It is set just below the Mayan ruins and is home to the most amazing crystal clear water in the world.  For as little as $70 a night you can stay at one of the many eco-chic cabanas along the pristine beach.

Akumal Bay

This beach is ideal for families with small children, divers, as well as oceanic photographers.  Its close vicinity to Tulum provides easy access to exploring the Mayan ruins as well.

Cabo San Lucas

Right on Mexico’s Baja peninsula is Cabo San Lucas, which is well-known for attracting movie stars, fisherman, and escapists in general. This beach is bound to please with its plethora of luxury hotels, whose low season rates range from $495 to $199.

Nachi Cocum, Cozumel

This beautiful beach attracts swarms of people touring with cruise ships.  Here you will find the Nachi Cocum Beachclub, which for a small fee provides guests with a full restaurant, pool, bar and beach access.

Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is a 4 mile-long stretch of island located only 8 miles off of Cancun.  Surfers will enjoy the island’s eastern, rockier side, while the west side is prime for quiet escapes.  Hotel Villa Rolandi offers virtually every outdoor amenity you can think of and will pick you up in their 42 foot yacht and transport you to the resort.

Playa la Ropa, Zihuatenejo

Playa Ropa provides a casual atmosphere where you will find a beach that is packed with restaurants and a multitude of other elegant accommodations.  Hotel Cinco Sentidos not only has an outdoor infinity pool, but each room also has its own “mini pool.” Suites here can start as low as $195 during low season.

Sayulita

Sayulita is one of Mexico’s surfing meccas.  It is a fishing town with about 4000 year round residents.  This town now connects to Puerto Vallarta, thanks to a newly-built road, and offers a simple and fun variety of taquerias and kiosks.  Homes can be rented at Villa Amor in a wide range of accommodating prices.
