In addition, Tulum is located just 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen, which is home to a wide variety of dining, arts, shopping and nightlife activities. Like Tulum, Playa was once a small town with affordable real estate, but today a beachfront condo can easily go for $500,000 or more. With land that is open for development scarce in the area, it is just a matter of time before real estate prices in Tulum start to soar, making this the best time for buyers to invest.
