Recognized as one of the Top Ten websites in the United States, with more than 46 million unique visitors each month, the fact that About.com gave two Reader’s Choice Awards to Puerto Vallarta is a sure sign of the city’s growing appeal. Puerto Vallarta received the distinction of being the “Most Romantic Place in Mexico for 2012” in part because of the thousands of weddings that are performed here annually. In fact, Puerto Vallarta is no stranger to receiving About.com Reader’s Choice Awards, having received the titles of “Friendliest City in the World” in 2011, and “Best Place to Retire in the World” by the AARP, as well as “Best Holiday Destination in Mexico by USNews.com, in 2010.
