Ryan Gravel
Providence, R.I.
My name is Ryan Gravel, I grew up in the small town in Rhode Island. For the last 6 years I had lived all around Florida doing various types of Real Estate. Now I am proud to say I can call the beautiful Riviera Maya and Puerto Aventuras my home.
I first discovered the brilliant Riviera Maya 7 years ago when I took a 75 ft Mickelson Sport Fishing yacht from Daytona Beach, FL to Puerto Aventuras. I proceeded to stay for 3 months to really take in and familiarize myself with the area. What brought me back to the area was the growth and opportunity I saw available while having the perks of quite frankly … “Living the Dream”.
The lifestyle that people live here is different from anywhere in the world. The diversity of people, places, and things you have access to is endless. People from over 47 different countries call this home, which gives the area an assorted array of culture, restaurants, and architecture. My typical weekends consist of Cenotes, Mayan Ruins, Scuba diving, Kite boarding, or just casually hanging out on the beach.
My move to Mexico from the States was a simple and flawless transition. We have all the comforts of home here. Considering that the Riviera Maya was built off of tourism the majority of people here speak English, so when I first arrived I didn’t feel the language barrier held me back any. Between business, pleasure, and a group of great friends I plan on making this my home for quite some time.
